Hi,
Tried on your safety shoe (P2.0 515209
THE CITY HIKER) today and loved it. Feels very
comfortable. My only concern or question is can the sole be replaced?
I tend to wear through soles quick and looking for something that has a replaceable sole.
Thank you
Hi Brett, great question. P2.0 has a high abrasion PU/Rubber sole. In our testing it has been demonstrated to be long wearing. It is not designed to be replaced with wear. Thanks.

Kindly, is this shoe manufactured equivalent to standard (EN ISO 20345)
BR
Thank you for the question. Our footwear is manufactured to the Canadian standard CSA Z195. There are similarities between the standards however one difference to point out is that EN 20345 footwear is antistatic while CSA will certify to electrical hazards (ESR). This means that our P2.0 safety shoes are certified for electrical use and are tested to withstand up to 18,000 volts of electricity.
Second pair of Patrick 2.0. Love the style, and love the quality tread. The leather quality is pretty decent as well, more than enough durability to last through the inevitable depletion of tread. All good stuff. I did buy a half size too big, so I think that accounts for the material on the inside heel fraying, and becoming uncomfortable. My question is, even though this boot has wedge sole, I’m wondering if it has a shank of any kind?
Hi Ben, thanks for writing. Glad to hear that you are liking our 515209. In answer to your question, as the sole does not have defined heel it does not have a steel shank in it. It does however have a composite puncture resistant material under the removable insole to protect against puncture resistance. Hi,
I just wanna ask if this model is waterproof? Are the seams sealed? And do you have any models that are insulated? Thanks.
Sorry, no this model is not waterproof. For water resistance 519209 is a better bet. As most of our styles are for indoor or light industry we do not insulate. Thanks for your questions.
Love the comfort, looks, weight, and the fact they are made in Canada.
This is the 3rd pair of MellowWalks I have gotten.
It was disappointing to have the seams give out at the front edge where the darker toe cap is sewn on. Lost about 3/4″ of seam. Thread seems weak or something. The boots look like new otherwise as they have not seen much use. Definitely no heavy use. I used a needle and high strength braided fishing line to sew the seam up so it doesn’t continue to split. Hope it holds up and I don’t have to do this much more to other areas of the boots as I do really like them.
Can you guys please go to some stronger thread?!
