in that kind , is it possible to built same boots whit 8″high?
Hi Patrick, sorry Mellow Walk does not currently have an 8″ workboot. Our tallest boots would be 6″. Thank you.
The new side zipper safety boot is not as good as the older version.
I have been wearing Mellow Walks for the last 6-7 years and this new style cuts into the outer side of my ankle. I returned them twice after I wore them for a few days so it’s not like I received a low quality boot.
I believe the difference is the most upper part of the ankle trim. The new one is more hard and that’s what digs into my skin.
It’s too bad as that boot was my favourite but I now had to switch over to a new boot today.
Regards,
MP
Hi Mike, thanks for sharing your feedback. I will share with our production team and hopefully we will be able to win you back on a future purchase.
are these available in composite toe vs steel?
could be my imagination, but I’m finding in the colder weather
my feet are colder than normal
co-worker swapped to composite toes.. and doesn’t notice the cold now
Hi Dave, at present this boot is steel-toe only. You are correct the steel can retain the cold if you are outdoors for a prolonged period of time. We do have a Chelsea boot with metal-free toecap 590128 if you are looking to try something different. Thank you.
